The Holidays are Back at Walt Disney World Resort!

There are some fun announcements today in regards to the Holidays, not only at Walt Disney World but at Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line as well! Let's take a look: Walt Disney World will have a new, special-ticketed event for the Holiday Season. Beginning on November 12, "Disney Very Merriest After Hours", will be available on select nights and will feature "Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks", Disney Characters, holiday music and decor, treats and more!

Throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, Guests will find festive entertainment, whimsical decor, seasonal food & beverage offerings and holiday-themed merchandise will all be a part of a very special season at each of the Walt Disney World Resort's four theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs.

Over at the Disneyland Resort, Guests will find the Haunted Mansion Holiday will be returning for its 20th season beginning on September 3! This merry makeover is inspired by "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas," and celebrates the collision of Halloween and Christmas. To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion Holiday, Disney is giving you a look at this year's gingerbread house. This is a tradition which changes every year.

Who doesn't love Disney Merchandise? Now that we are halfway to the holidays, it's time to start thinking about gifts for your family and friends. The first of many all new Sketchbook Ornaments are releasing soon on ShopDisney. Guests can also get excited for holiday-themed ears, Spirit Jerseys and more! These items will be arriving in parks and on shopDisney this holiday season. Global retailers such as Amazon and BoxLunch will be rolling out some fun holiday-themed merchandise too, including a summer fun "Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas" collection!

Disney Cruise Line will be decked out for the holidays from early November through December during Very Merrytime Cruises. Holiday magic will be unwrapped for the whole family with festive holiday decor, favorite characters in their finest holiday attire and a special visit from...Santa Claus!
