First Look Inside a Reimagined Guest Room at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Did you know that the Contemporary Resort is in the middle of an *Incredible* makeover? To prepare for it's 50th anniversary, alongside the Magic Kingdom's, all 9 floors of the A-frame tower, are being reimagined. This reimagining of Disney's Contemporary Resort is going to enhance it's retro-modern aesthetic that evokes Tomorrowland...with a dash of something *Incredible*, too.

All 9 floors of the resort's tower are being refurbished. Check out the pictures below! Jack-Jack, Frozone and Edna Mode are included in the new room motifs which will also blend a sleek Monorail feel.

In the lobby, Guests will soon see a new collection of modern art pieces as well as historical, behind-the-scenes photographs of Disney's Contemporary Resort in development and under construction. The Wave...of American Flavors, which is located in the lobby area, will soon close to make way for a reimagined dining experience in time for the Walt Disney World 50th anniversary celebration.

Beginning July 16, the lobby will be relocated to the second floor of the resort. It is set to reopen in late September with an enhanced check-in and an open, free-flowing layout. As for the guest rooms - once the tower rooms are complete, work will begin on the rooms inside the Garden Wing out on the shore of Bay Lake.
